Friday shattered the early voting record. 13,625 people voted in person, almost 50% more than Thursday's 9,235, which had been the busiest day so far. Another 1,820 mail ballots came in.![]()

Democrats have the highest turnout rate at 46.4%, compared with 35.7% for Republicans. Republicans cast 47% of today's ballots, and their lead in total ballots grew from 19,139 to 22,101.![]()

NPA voters, many of whom consider themselves independents, turned out in their biggest numbers yet. They cast 21% of today's ballots, their best share of any day so far. But they are still just 18% of all ballots despite making up 24% of registered voters, and only 27.8% of them have voted.![]()

If you are an independent, you literally hold the power to decide who wins this election. Neither party can win Brevard without you.![]()

Tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 31, is the last day of early voting. Expect lines, and go early if you can. You can vote at any early voting site in the county.![]()
