Political, civic, or community experience

Vice Chairman of the Titusville Planning & Zoning Commission (serving 2021 – 2026), where I reviewed development proposals and land use decisions affecting our community. Small business owner, technology executive, and active participant in local government.

1. Why are you running?

I am running because I believe Titusville deserves a government that is transparent, accountable, and focused on its core responsibilities. Through my involvement in local government, I’ve seen delays and barriers to accessing public records, missed opportunities to strengthen accountability, and a need to prioritize infrastructure maintenance to better address flooding and protect taxpayers’ investment.

2. What are your top three priorities if elected?

My top priorities are: (1) improving infrastructure to reduce flooding and maintain roads and utilities; (2) making City government more transparent and accountable through better oversight and easier public access to information; and (3) supporting responsible economic growth while opposing overdevelopment that outpaces infrastructure and burdens taxpayers.

3. What is the single biggest problem facing the people this office serves, and how would you address it?

The biggest challenge is aging infrastructure that has not kept pace with the City’s needs. Flooding, roads, water, and stormwater systems require sustained investment and better long-term planning. I would prioritize infrastructure maintenance, require new development to account for its impact on public infrastructure, and ensure taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently on projects that provide lasting benefits.

4. How will you keep constituents informed and involved in your decisions?

I have always believed elected officials should be accessible. I will use technology, social media, and community meetings to keep residents informed, explain upcoming issues in plain language, and gather feedback before major decisions. Whether someone agrees with me or not, they should always know why I made a decision.

5. Why are you a better choice than your opponents?

What sets me apart is my combination of public service, professional experience, and technical expertise. As Vice Chairman of the Titusville Planning & Zoning Commission, I have years of experience reviewing development proposals, balancing competing interests, and making recommendations that affect our community. As a small business owner and technology executive, I understand budgeting, accountability, and how technology can make government more transparent and accessible. I am prepared to serve on day one with both government experience and private-sector leadership.

Public service is about earning trust. I will always strive to be accessible, explain my decisions, and listen respectfully, even when we disagree. Whether you supported me or not, I will work to represent every resident of Titusville with integrity, transparency, and a focus on the City’s long-term success.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has vetoed Florida's new e-bike safety bill, and his reason for doing it might surprise you.SB 382 sailed through Tallahassee. It passed both the House and the Senate unanimously. Not one no vote. The bill would have capped e-bike speeds at 10 mph when riding within 50 feet of a pedestrian, required riders on shared paths to yield and signal before passing, and created a Micromobility Device Safety Task Force to study the issue and recommend future rules.Then on June 25, DeSantis killed it.His objection? Surveillance."This bill will likely lead to enhanced surveillance by local governments against citizens," the governor wrote in his veto letter. He argued the 10 mph rule would be nearly impossible for a rider to measure on the fly, and that enforcing it would "inevitably" mean speed detection and monitoring devices aimed at ordinary people.At a news conference Friday, he didn't soften it. "Do we really want to have policing of e-bikes?" DeSantis said. "What it will lead to is more surveillance of people by law enforcement. And we don't need that."He called the bill "a little bit of an overreach."Here's what the veto actually does for us on the Space Coast: nothing changes at the state level. There is still no uniform statewide framework. That means local governments and school districts keep setting their own rules, and those rules can vary wildly from one city or county to the next.Even the bill's own sponsors aren't fighting back. BREAKING: US Strikes Iranian Targets After Drone Attack on Cargo Ship in Strait of HormuzThe United States military carried out strikes Friday against Iranian missile and drone storage sites and coastal radar positions around the Strait of Hormuz, retaliating for an attack a day earlier on a commercial cargo vessel transiting the critical waterway, according to US Central Command.CENTCOM said Iranian forces launched at least four one-way attack drones at ships in the strait Thursday. One drone struck the upper deck of a large cargo vessel on its starboard side, damaging the bridge. The ship was still able to continue on its way, and no casualties or environmental damage were reported.
