Viera, Fla. – September 18, 2025 – United Way Space Coast, formerly known as United Way of Brevard, is set to kick off its 2025 fundraising campaign with a high-energy, football-themed celebration on Thursday, September 25, at the Brevard Public Schools Board Room in Viera.

This year’s campaign is being led by Dr. Mark Rendell, Superintendent of Brevard Public Schools, who is serving as the 2025 Campaign Chair. The event will bring together business leaders, community advocates, and agency partners to announce the annual fundraising goal and launch the campaign season.

“Every great season starts with a strong kickoff, and this campaign is our chance to come together as a team for Brevard’s children and families,” said Dr. Rendell. “As a school district, we see every day how much stronger our community becomes when people work together. That’s why I’m honored to chair this year’s campaign.”

The kickoff will run from 8 to 10 a.m., with doors opening at 8 a.m. and the program beginning at 8:30. Guests will enjoy game-day inspired fun, a themed photo booth, and stories highlighting the local impact of United Way Space Coast’s initiatives. Attendees will also be the first to hear the 2025 fundraising goal.

United Way Space Coast President Caron Partridge emphasized that the event is about more than just fundraising. “This campaign kickoff is more than an event. It’s the start of a season of teamwork and possibility. United Way Space Coast is here to unite people around solutions that matter for Brevard. I’m excited to see what we will accomplish together in the year ahead.”
