Email:cheyennefortitusville@gmail.com

Current Employment:
Smiles Dental Design

Where are you from: Titusville, Florida

Why are you running: I am running to help Titusville progress into the modern age with more local business, dining options, and entertainment. I also hear a lot of concern regarding our current infrastructure and lagoon. Brevard county attracts a variety of tourism thanks to our amazing space program. I’d love for people to remember what a beautiful and accommodating city Titusville is.

What are your top three priorities if you are elected:

I’d like to find out how we can propose a new yearly budget that focuses on local business incentives, green initiatives, and lagoon clean-up.

What do you think is the number 1 problem in your district related to the office you are running for:

The number one problem has been, and still is our lagoon. Why aren’t our efforts helping heal the estuary?

How will you involve your constituents in your decision making: I’d love to hear any and all issues concerning Titusville. Please send me an e-mail and i’ll look into how I can help. Some concerns I’ve heard already are repaving roads and adding crosswalks for dangerous intersections to help pedestrians travel safely.

Do you plan to run for a higher office: I’m very proud to be running for such an intimate position on city council. I am in school for political science with my aim in diplomacy. My goal will ultimately push me towards a higher position.

How will you address infrastructure in your district: I’ve had personal experience with repaving taking two years of calls to the city. The excessive timeline needs to be more realistic.

How will you address affordable housing? Palm Bay just initiated a plan to make tiny homes available and affordable for the residents. Let’s model after a progressive idea that will benefit our residents struggling to afford or acquire housing.

How will you address environmental concerns in your district?: We recently passed a half cent tax to help fund the rehabilitation of our lagoon, why is the health of the lagoon still such an issue? Let’s look into more aggressive tactics to restore the health of the lagoon. We’ve also started installing solar panels on government buildings, why stop there? Let’s go green!

Why are you a better choice than your opponents: I’m very proud to be running against someone just as passionate about Titusville, however, I am able to connect to our peers and represent their interests in a progressive way. It’s an honor to be able to hear the concerns of the residents and use them to improve upon a wonderful foundation.

What is your past political experience:

I grew up in a politically charged household. I am proud to say I’ve been involved in numerous campaign and community efforts. My education is a reflection for the passion I have for positive change in the community, state, and country.

Opponents and the media research public records, police reports, credit information and do other background checks in an effort to discover tax liens, lawsuits, arrest records and other unfortunate things. Are there any issues your opponent could use against you that you wish to disclose:

No issues.

Are there any other comments you’d like to make? I appreciate hearing from residents. Any feedback is welcome.
