Her husband Brian reported that he and Amber got into an argument on the way home from the appointment, and he let her out of the vehicle on I-95 at her request. Within several hours of speaking to Brian, his truck was found engulphed in flames by passing citizens.
He claimed that Amber left with her purse and cell phone and refused to get back in the car. Brian stated he didn’t bother to look for or contact her for 3 days after to give her space. The very next day, her body was found along side highway 46 near Pit Bull lane by a property owner.
The medical examiner discovered Amber suffered from severe head trauma and multiple gunshot wounds.
BCSO investigators executed search warrants that completely contradicted Brian’s story. The investigation lead law enforcement to a wooded area known as the “black hole” with the assistance of cadaver dogs. They discovered the crime scene that had traces of Amber’s blood, and projectiles lodged in the dirt.
They concluded that Brian drove her body around in the darkness that night and eventually discarded her alongside the road where she was found.
Brian vacated his residence in Titusville and moved to West Virginia where he was arrested today and charged with 1st Degree premeditated murder with a firearm, and tampering with evidence related to a felony. Law enforcement is currently working on obtaining a search warrant for his residence in West Virginia.
He is currently in custody on a no-bond status as he awaits extradition back to Brevard County.
