Accidental discharge from 16 year old shot himself and Sincere Pierce’s mother at funeral

Yesterday it was widely reported that 39-year-old Quasheda Pierce, the mother of Sincere Pierce was shot at her sons funeral service by an unknown gunman.

According to the sheriff’s office, initials reports were that a male and female received non-life-threatening injuries from a gun-shot.

The male’s identity, a 16-year-old, is not being released at this time.

According to deputies, the 16-year-old “experienced an accidental discharge from a firearm concealed on his person during the funeral service.”

The bullet struck the male in the leg and exited, striking Quasheda Pierce in her leg.

The 16-year-old juvenile is refusing to cooperate with law enforcement. Once the investigation is complete, the findings will be presented to the State Attorney’s Office.
