“Just wanted to give a shout out to our Rockledge Police Department ! My dog alerted us at 2 am that we had a visitor. I called the non emergency line at 2:06 and they came out in minutes and a trapper came out right after. Never in my life have I had to call the police and never thought this would be the reason why!

The gator apparently was trying to reach them about their extended car warranty.

A Palm Bay man awaiting trial on felony child abuse charges got a Brevard County judge to lift a ban on contact with minors after telling the judge he was a licensed contractor managing a construction project for Brevard Public Schools.Florida records show John Eric Vernon holds no contractor license and never has. The school told The Space Coast Rocket he has never been under contract for any of its campuses.
