There are 4 candidates running for Mayor of Palm Bay, the largest city in Brevard County. The top 2 of the 4 receiving the most votes on the August 18th election, will move forward to the general election.

If one individual candidate receives at least 50% of the vote plus one more vote, they will win the election outright and there will be no genral election in November.

These are the candidates in the order they will be on the ballot. City council and mayoral races for Palm Bay are non-partisan races.

What they did was require Trump to release emergency funds that were already legally allocated for SNAP to prevent disruptions to the program during the shutdown.The administration had argued it didn’t have to use those emergency funds or that they weren’t available.
