TITUSVILLE, Fla. — An 18-year-old Titusville resident, identified as Jayden Andre Cruz, was arrested on September 5, 2025, and charged with two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Titusville Police Department.

Details of the Investigation

The case began with a CyberTipline Report received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The report flagged two videos uploaded to Snapchat on December 22, 2024, containing suspected child sexual abuse material. Investigators traced the files back to an account associated with Cruz, linking them through identifying details including his date of birth, email address, screen name, and an IP address registered to the family’s Spectrum/Charter Communications account at their residence on Ashley Drive.

Subpoenaed records from the internet service provider confirmed the IP address was assigned to Cruz’s household, where he resides with his mother.

Content of the Files

According to police, both reported files were videos depicting different pre-pubescent females engaged in sexual acts with adult males. The affidavit states that Cruz himself did not appear in either video but was identified as the uploader.

Search Warrants and Arrest

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the Snapchat account, which confirmed the CyberTipline findings and provided further identifying information tying the account to Cruz. A subsequent residential search warrant was executed at the Ashley Drive home on the morning of September 5, 2025.

During a post-Miranda interview, Cruz admitted to owning and controlling the Snapchat account at the time of the uploads. He also identified the devices he used, which were seized as evidence.

Charges and Bond

Cruz faces two felony counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material under Florida Statute 827.071(5). His bond was set at $70,000. Court records show he will be required to make a mandatory court appearance.

What’s Next

The case is being prosecuted in Brevard County. The affidavit notes that the charges are supported by multiple layers of evidence, including the CyberTipline report, subpoenaed ISP data, Snapchat’s account records, and Cruz’s own admissions.
