Woman’s Body Found Floating 200 Yards Off Shore – Police Seeking Info

PRESS RELEASE

On Saturday, February 1, 2025 at approximately 8:08 a.m. Indian Harbour Beach Police received a 911 call in reference to a possible body floating in the ocean approximately 200 yards from the shoreline behind 2055 Hwy. A1A. Officers arrived on scene where they immediately requested assistance from BCSO Aviation Unit and Satellite Beach Fire Department with their jet skis.

SBFD rescue personnel on jet skis were able to recover an unidentified w/f victim approximately 30-40 years of age. Lifesaving efforts were performed until the victim was transported to an area hospital by BCFR. Unfortunately, despite lifesaving measures, the victim did not survive.

This is an active investigation being investigated by our detectives.
