Engulfed Camper Catches Palm Bay Home on Fire

This afternoon, just after 1 p.m., units were dispatched to reports of a camper on fire next to a home in the SE section of the city.

Crews arrived to find the camper and one side of the home heavily involved in flames.

Thanks to a strong response from multiple stations, the fire was quickly brought under control. There were no reported injuries.

The homeowners were turned over to the care of the American Red Cross for post-incident support.
