According to a Palm Bay Police Department arrest affidavit, officers responded around 7:57 a.m. on November 7, 2025, to a report of a man and woman “smoking narcotics” in a blue vehicle parked at Ken Greene Memorial Park on Riviera Drive. Upon arrival, the officer observed a white male and female in the car. The woman, later identified as Day, appeared nervous and was seen making a “furtive movement” to hide something on the floorboard of the passenger side.

When questioned, Day admitted she had recently purchased fentanyl and that it was in the vehicle under her blanket. A probable cause search revealed a red-and-white Sweet Cinnamon Mints container holding a blue cut straw and a brown rocklike substance, along with another clear plastic bag containing similar material. The officer also found a child’s book with white powder on its cover, which tested positive for fentanyl.
