According to the City of Cocoa Beach Government’s recent announcement on social media, any and all traffic violations within this zone will be rigorously enforced, with fines doubled and possible vehicle impoundment for infractions. The statement emphasized that there would be “STRICT ENFORCEMENT” of all Florida Statutes and local ordinances, including making arrests as deemed necessary.

This crackdown comes as the city seeks to maintain order and safety during what is anticipated to be a highly attended gathering. The city has advised residents and visitors to adhere strictly to the rules to avoid any penalties or legal issues.
