In the heart of Brevard County, a unique holiday tradition has been bringing joy and festive spirit to the community for the past nine years. The 9th Annual Law Enforcement Reverse Christmas Parade is set to bring the community together once again on Tuesday, November 28th, in a vibrant display of generosity and holiday cheer.
A Unique Twist on Holiday Celebrations
Initiated in 2015, the Reverse Christmas Parade is an innovative concept where instead of receiving, participants give. Citizens line up along the parade route, not to watch floats pass by, but to hand over new, unwrapped toys to law enforcement officers. These officers, including Sheriff Wayne Ivey and various Chiefs of Police, traverse the parade route across nine different locations in the county, collecting gifts for children.
