11-month old dies in hot car while parents attended church

A baby has died in Palm Bay after being left inside a hot car for nearly 3 hours according to police.

The parents were attending service inside Mount of Olives Evangelical Baptist Church on Babcock St and Malabar Road.

The baby was taken to Palm Bay Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

As of now, there have been no arrests Fromm the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.

“This is an unfortunate incident, and our condolences and prayers go out to the family,” Palm Bay Police Chief Mario Augello said.
