A Titusville man is facing 10 felony counts after investigators alleged child sexual abuse material was found on a computer and other devices seized from his residence, according to an affidavit for arrest warrant filed in Brevard County Circuit Court. The filing identifies the defendant as James Harvey Griffith, 55, and states the case stems from a Titusville Police Department investigation that began on Dec. 21, 2025.
According to the affidavit, Titusville police received a call from a concerned citizen that morning reporting Griffith was allegedly in possession of child sexual abuse material. Investigators wrote that a witness provided a sworn statement describing what she said she observed on a television monitor inside the residence. Based on that information, police obtained and executed a search warrant for the home the same day, collecting multiple electronic devices, including a personal computer connected to the monitor.

The affidavit states Griffith was later interviewed by investigators after being advised of his Miranda rights. According to the filing, he initially denied viewing child sexual abuse material but later allegedly acknowledged visiting websites and saving certain images to his computer. Investigators then obtained an additional warrant for the seized computer and submitted it for digital forensic examination through the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
