On Thursday August 28, 2025, at approximately 7:30PM, the Titusville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section arrested Christopher Owens, 34, of Titusville after receiving a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force involving Owens transmitting explicit child material online. Investigators were able to validate the tip, linking Owens to the offenses.
Detectives took Owens into custody on August 28th without incident at his residence and are still processing both physical and digital evidence related to this case. Through this extensive investigation, Detectives were able to link Owens to another state and are currently working with external agencies to identify more victims to bring forward the appropriate charges.

Currently, Christopher Owens is being charged with the following, however more charges are anticipated:
• 5 Counts – Possession of Material Depicting Child Pornography
Owens is being held at the Brevard County Detention Center with a $125,000.00 bond.
