Sheriff Wanye Ivey announces run for 4th term as Brevard County Sheriff

Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced on his Facebook page yesterday his intention to run for re-election in 2024. This would be Ivey’s 4th term. He was first elected in 2012 and ran unopposed in 2016. In 2020 he was challenged by attorney Alton Edmond (Democrat) and won with 66% of the vote.
