Sebastian, FL – In a heartwarming display of community support, the Sebastian Police Department has teamed up with local businesses to assist an elderly woman in need. Earlier this year, officers from the department’s COPE (Community Outreach Program and Education) unit encountered the woman, who was struggling with her living conditions. After assessing her needs, the COPE unit reached out to TeamSuccess Enterprises Inc., which, in partnership with Home Depot and ORC Services Inc., agreed to undertake a remodel of her home.

The initiative aims to make the elderly woman’s home more suitable and handicap accessible. The project officially began yesterday, with a team of dedicated workers from the involved organizations coming together to start the remodel and cleaning process. The COPE unit provided snow cones and popcorn to the hardworking volunteers, adding a festive touch to the day’s activities.

The Sebastian Police Department expressed gratitude for the collaboration, emphasizing the positive impact such partnerships can have on the community. “Thank you to TeamSuccess Enterprises, Home Depot, and ORC Services for helping to make this woman’s year!” read a statement from the department.
