Search underway for missing 4-year-old in Cocoa

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert for help in locating a missing and endangered child. Four-year-old Franklin Orwig III, also known as “Frankie,” was last seen Friday morning at 8:52 a.m. outside his home on Burgess Avenue, Cocoa.

Frankie is 3 feet tall, weighing 40 pounds, with strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing black pajamas. The Sheriff’s Office has entered Frankie as a missing and endangered juvenile and is actively searching for him.

Anyone with information about where Frankie may be is asked to immediately contact Agent John Wigham of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. The Communications Center can be reached at 321-633-7162.
