Not long. after it was discovered, a Brevard County Sheriff’s vehicle was at the site somewhat blocking the image from the public.

The word “murderers” was painted in red spray paint on the wall. There were no other areas noticed to have had been vandalized in the immediate area. It’s not exactly clear when the vandalism took place.

We contacted the Public Affairs Officer for the base that was not aware of the incident at the time. We are awaiting a response from their office.

We went out to the scene and noticed that fresh paint had already put up, covering the word. The context of the message was not clear, and no other references were made. We will update the story when more information is available.
