Cocoa Beach, FL — A 33-year-old Ohio man has been arrested in connection to a 2023 sexual battery and battery case in Cocoa Beach, Florida, following a breakthrough in DNA evidence and cooperation between multiple law enforcement agencies across state lines.
The Cocoa Beach Police Department announced the arrest of Brendon Alladin Miller on May 14, 2025, after a joint operation with the Cincinnati Police Department in Ohio. Miller was taken into custody in Ohio and is currently awaiting extradition to the Brevard County Jail on charges of Sexual Battery and Battery.
The case dates back to January 28, 2023, when Cocoa Beach police began investigating a report of a sexual battery and battery involving an adult female victim and an unidentified suspect. Despite limited leads at the time, detectives continued to work the case and in January 2025 received new DNA evidence that helped move the investigation forward.
