Below is the video footage from the arrest and inside the jail that shows the incident that led to Gregory Edwards death.

Edwards is left unattended for nearly 16 minutes while strapped to a restraint chair with a spit hood on after being pepper sprayed and tased multiple times. He is found unresponsive in the cell and paramedics can be seen doing CPR as they wheel him out of the jail.

For nearly 2 years, Sheriff Wayne Ivey refused to release the video showing exactly what happened. It wasn’t until Florida Today filed a lawsuit for it’s release did it become available today.
