This announcement comes just hours after County Commissioner Chair Bryan Lober told people to continue to “live their lives” encouraging people to go to restaurants and such, contrary to statements made by the governor and the CDC.

He also attempted to reassure individuals of their safety to do so by stating that the highest ranking health official in Brevard County, Maria Stahl, decided to go on a cruise herself during this pandemic as the State came under a state of emergency. Maria Stahl is administrator of the Florida Department of Health in Brevard, which is headquartered on Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.
