Fiery motorcycle crash on Malabar Rd – Man, 43 dies

The Florida Highway Patrol says a 2007 Honda TX1300R motorcycle and a 2021 GMC Savannah were involved in a crash this morning on Malabar Rd.

The motorcyclist was passing multiple vehicles in a no-passing zone when the Savana made a left turn, causing the motorcycle to slide under the van, resulting in both vehicles catching fire.

The 43-year-old motorcycle rider from Sebastian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Savana was unharmed and stayed at the crash site.

The FHP is still investigating the accident, and the identity of the deceased has not been released.
