Court records say the vehicle linked to the alleged attack had been taken hours earlier from a Winter Park apartment complex.
An 18-year-old high school junior is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he sexually battered a woman who had been panhandling near a gas station and used a vehicle that had been reported stolen just hours earlier.
Jamarcus Giscombe, 18, was arrested Friday evening, according to an arrest affidavit and Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigators. His X (formerly Twitter) profile states he’s an Eau Gallie High Junior that plays football and runs track. Numerous public prep sites like 247Sports and Hudl show him on the Eau Gallie varsity football and track rosters, appearing to have transferred from Rockledge High where his father previously coached.

According to the stolen vehicle report, the victim had been panhandling in the median outside a Circle K along North Goldenrod Road when she was picked up by a driver later identified as Giscombe. Deputies said she was then taken behind a nearby Nissan dealership.

Investigators allege that once there, Giscombe told the woman she was going to perform a sex act, and when she refused, he began hitting her. The report states the woman was able to get out of the vehicle through the front door, but was attacked again outside the car, had her clothes ripped off, and was sexually battered.
After the alleged attack, deputies said Giscombe ran back to the vehicle while the victim fled, injured and unclothed, to another gas station, prompting a 911 call.
The vehicle involved in the case was later linked to a separate Orange County grand theft auto report. In that affidavit, Deputy John Parra wrote that he responded around 5:33 a.m. to an apartment on George Mason Avenue in Winter Park after a woman reported her 2011 blue Chevrolet Cruze had been stolen.
According to the affidavit, the woman told deputies she had gone to Wawa earlier that morning, and saw several men making a music video. She asked if her and her friend could be in the video. She later invited them back to her apartment, where they drank and played UNO. She said two of the men, later identified as Christian Enye Lewis and Giscombe, left the apartment separately, and moments later she realized her car keys were missing and her vehicle was gone.
The affidavit states the woman told deputies she had not given anyone permission to take the car and believed Lewis and Giscombe had taken it. Witnesses on scene contacted the men and urged them to return because law enforcement was present. Deputies later recovered the vehicle behind a building on North Goldenrod Road. The affidavit also notes there was damage to the car during the taking.
Lewis allegedly told investigators he did not realize the car had been stolen and believed Giscombe was simply taking him home. He later returned to deputies after learning the vehicle had been reported missing, according to the affidavit.
The Orange County affidavit charges Giscombe with grand theft of a motor vehicle, a third-degree felony. It also notes detectives later requested to interview him in connection with a sexual battery case before he was booked into jail.
Police reported that blood found inside the vehicle helped connect Giscombe to both investigations.
During an interview with detectives, Giscombe allegedly claimed the woman had initially offered him sexual services, but later demanded payment after they arrived at the dealership. Investigators say he admitted they had sex even though he refused to pay, and that a fight followed.
Giscombe now faces charges of sexual battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, aggravated battery with great bodily harm, and grand theft of a vehicle. The outlet reported he is being held without bond.
As with all criminal cases, the allegations against Giscombe remain accusations unless and until proven in court.
