Brevard man pulls machete after being denied karaoke song at bar

Published on

According to reports from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, 39 year old Travis Jordan pulled out an 18-inch machete when he was denied singing another karaoke song.

The incident happened at Kennedy’s Lamp Post Tavern in Cape Canaveral yesterday.

When the police arrived, they stated they found JOURDAN stumbling on his feet with bloodshot eyes and smelling strongly of alcohol.

According to reports, a woman convinced him to handover the weapon, which was concealed on his body. Bar staff then hid the weapon and waited for police to arrive.

Jordan told police he was carrying the weapon to protect himself because he had been threatened in the recent past.

He was arrested and charged with breach of peace.
