Arrest Made in Attempted Murder Shooting This Morning

Suspect Charged with Attempted Murder of Local Man

On Saturday May 10th, 2025, at 0417AM, Titusville Police Department responded to a shooting incident at the intersection of Garden Street and S Grannis Avenue. Officers arrived on scene to find an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Life saving measures were provided until paramedics arrived on scene. The male was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. At this time, it is expected the male will survive his injuries.

Detectives quickly located vital information leading to a name and description of the suspect which led to probable cause for an arrest. The suspect was located in less than two hours and placed under arrest and he was identified as Titusville resident, Calvin L Woodson, date of birth 11-22-1991

Woodson is being charged with:

  • 1 count Attempted Murder
  • 1 count of Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon

Woodson is being held at the Brevard County Detention Center on a no bond status.
