🚨 Flagler Fugitive Accused of Sexually Battering Child Under 12 Returned to Florida 🚨After weeks of delays and legal wrangling in North Carolina, 72-year-old Kermit Booth—wanted on two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12—is now back in Florida custody.Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly and his team personally traveled to North Carolina to bring Booth back after his second arrest on a governor’s warrant. He’s now being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Detention Facility on $500,000 bond and faces life in prison if convicted.Sheriff Staly didn’t mince words:“I hope he enjoyed his flight back to Florida because it’ll probably be the last flight he takes. Have you seen this vehicle? It is a gold colored 2010-2013 model, 4-door Honda Accord last seen heading North on Indian River Drive just after 4:30 PM. The driver is described as a white or Hispanic male with bushy sideburns and a mustache. This vehicle was involved in a hit and run crash involving a pedestrian in the 800-block of Indian River Dr. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries as a result of being hit.
