Detectives and crime scene investigators are currently investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 700 block of Tucson Rd SW. No officers or other citizens were injured during this incident. The suspect is deceased. We will provide an update later in the day.

🚨 FATAL CRASH UNDER INVESTIGATION IN BREVARD COUNTY 🚨The Florida Highway Patrol has released details on a fatal crash that occurred Friday night, December 12, around 8:11 p.m., at Barna Avenue and Nicklaus Drive in Brevard County.According to FHP, a 35-year-old man from Titusville was driving a Chevrolet Malibu and was actively fleeing from the Titusville Police Department when the crash occurred. Troopers say the vehicle had been previously stop-sticked and was traveling on and off the roadway as it approached the intersection.The vehicle ultimately struck a palm tree, a fence, and a sign. The driver was transported to Parrish Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
