Wednesday night, at a special meeting, council voted 3-2 to require face coverings at all indoor public spaces and businesses. The mask order also applies to outdoor public spaces and businesses where social distancing is not possible.

Fines of up to $500 are possible for those who violate the ordinance. The list of exceptions includes children age 2 and younger, people working in a profession who do not have contact with other people, people who are eating or drinking, and people who are exercising while maintaining social distancing.
