More COVID-19 vaccination appointments available at Florida Publix pharmacies
LAKELAND, Fla., Jan. 26, 2021 — Publix is once again working with the state of Florida to administer doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at select Publix pharmacies. Locations in Indian River and St. Lucie counties are being added to the list of Publix pharmacies administering the vaccination, bringing the total number to 261 in 20 Florida counties.
“Our collaboration with Governor DeSantis continues to bring needed vaccine doses to residents of Florida, and we are privileged to be part of this critical effort,” said Publix CEO Todd Jones. “With each new shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine, we are able to serve more people and more communities in our home state.” Eligibility
In accordance with the state’s guidelines, vaccinations are currently being provided to individuals ages 65 and older. The state of Florida requires individuals receiving their first vaccine dose to provide proof of residency meeting certain criteria. Residency requirements can be found at publix.com/covidvaccine/florida.

Vaccinations are provided by appointment only, while supplies last, through the online reservation system at publix.com/covidvaccine. Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or the Publix Pharmacy. The system will be open on two days for appointment times as follows:
