Palm Bay Police Arrest Edison Antonio Following Alleged Multi-Day Assault and Sexual Battery

The Palm Bay Police Department announces the arrest of Edison Antonio.

Antonio was wanted on the following charges:

  • Sexual Battery, Robbery and Felony Battery
  • Violation of Probation
  • Failure to Appear

Antonio has an extensive criminal history that includes prior convictions for:

  • Possession of Paraphernalia
  • Domestic Battery by Strangulation
  • False Imprisonment
  • Tampering with a Witness or Victim
  • Improper Exhibition of a Dangerous Weapon

The most recent investigation stems from incidents that occurred beginning Jan. 6, and continued over the course of several days. Antonio targeted a victim he had recently met and transported them to a residence in Palm Bay. While there, Antonio physically battered the victim multiple times over several days. Our investigators determined the victim was intimidated and confined to the residence, despite expressing a desire to leave. Antonio is also accused of sexually battering the victim and later taking property from them.
