It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of K9 Jay.

Diagnosed with Mesenteric Torsion, a rapid and often fatal disease, K9 Jay turned one on March 18th, 2024, and loved playing with his favorite Nylabone toy. K9 Jay served our community with loyalty and dedication. He was not just a valued member of our department but was also considered family to his handler, Officer Blackledge.

If you would like to honor K9 Jay’s memory and help us continue our K9 unit’s vital work, please consider donating at PalmBayBlue.org. Your donations will go towards the purchase of a new patrol K9 for our agency.

Thank you for your support during this time.
