According to court records, Caleb Ryan Dean, 36, is has been arrested and charged with sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious touching of certain minors, and child abuse.Â
A complaint was filed with the Melbourne Police Department about Dean who was employed as a communications officer. Brevard County Sheriff’s Office took over the investigation and soon thereafter arrested him.
He has been placed on administrative leave without pay, and is in the process of being terminated from his employment with the city of Melbourne. He’s currently being held on a no-bond status.
No details on the allegations are available in the current public records. Social media accounts show that Caleb was recently married in December 2018, and has 3 young children.
