Brevard County Fire Rescue crews battled a large house fire this afternoon in Idialantic at 292 Sand Dollar Rd.

Indialantic Home a Total Loss After Fire

Engine 64 arrived to a fully involved structure fire on Sand Dollar Rd. The call came in around 3:00 pm. Truck 63, Rescue 63, Engine 62, Rescue 62, and mutual aid partners, Melbourne Fire Department Truck 71, Engine 71, and Heavy Rescue 70 also responded.
Neighbors captured video of the fire before first responders arrived.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, however no injuries were reported according to BCFR. Photos of the home on Zillow show that a large portion of the home was made of wood.
