Fatal crash this morning in Cocoa

Troopers are on-scene of a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 7:30 A.M.
The crash occurred on U.S.1 north of Tupelo Circle in Cocoa, Brevard County.

The crash involves a V1 (2018 Kia Soul) and V2 (2016 Dodge Journey).
The sequence of events that lead to this crash are still under investigation.

V1 Driver (53-year-old female from Sharpes) was pronounced deceased on-scene.
V2 Driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
We currently only have preliminary information as our Traffic Homicide Investigators are still investigating this fatal collision.
There is currently roadblock in the area. All northbound lanes and the southbound inside lane of U.S. 1 north of Tupelo Circle are currently blocked.
This crash remains under investigation.
