1. Why are you running?
I am running because I believe our community deserves leadership that is accessible, accountable, and focused on the needs of the people. Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to serving others as a coach, mentor, business owner, and community advocate. Those experiences have given me firsthand insight into the challenges facing working families, local businesses, and our youth.
I want to bring a practical, common-sense approach to local government that prioritizes transparency, public safety, economic opportunity, and responsible growth. My goal is to ensure that residents have a strong voice in the decisions that affect their daily lives and that government remains responsive to the people it serves. I am running to help build a stronger, more united community where every resident has the opportunity to succeed.
2. What are your top three priorities if elected?
My top three priorities are:
Government Transparency and Accountability – Restore public trust by increasing transparency in government operations, strengthening oversight of public spending, requiring greater disclosure of contracts and procurement decisions, and ensuring residents have meaningful access to information and participation in the decision-making process.
Public Safety and Infrastructure – Ensuring our police, fire, and emergency services have the resources they need while improving roads, drainage, and essential infrastructure to support a growing community.
Protecting Taxpayers and Responsible Growth – Ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely by prioritizing infrastructure, public safety, and essential services while carefully evaluating development projects to prevent special interests from benefiting at the expense of residents and neighborhoods.
3. What is the single biggest problem facing the people this office serves, and how would you address it?
The single biggest problem facing our community is the growing disconnect between residents and their government. Too many people feel that decisions are being made without their input, that special interests have greater influence than ordinary citizens, and that government lacks transparency, accountability, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the Constitution. I will restore public trust by listening to residents, making decisions openly, following the rule of law, and ensuring every action serves the people—not special interests.
4. How will you keep constituents informed and involved in your decisions?
I will be accessible, transparent, and responsive to the people I serve by maintaining open communication and listening to residents’ concerns. However, effective local government is a partnership. Public involvement is essential, and I encourage residents to attend City Council meetings, review agendas, and participate in the decision-making process. An informed and engaged community leads to better government, and I will always welcome public input before making important decisions.
5. Why are you a better choice than your opponents?
I am a better choice because my commitment to public service did not begin with a political campaign—it has been demonstrated through years of hands-on involvement in our community. As a coach, mentor, business owner, and community advocate, I have worked directly with families, youth, and residents facing real challenges. I understand the concerns of everyday people because I have lived and worked alongside them.
Unlike candidates who may view public office as a political stepping stone, I am focused on serving the community with integrity, transparency, and accountability. I am willing to ask difficult questions, challenge the status quo when necessary, and put the interests of residents ahead of special interests or political insiders. My goal is not to represent a political agenda, but to ensure that government remains responsive to the people and earns their trust through honest leadership and measurable results.
7. Anything else you’d like voters to know?
I want voters to know that I am running to serve, not to gain power or status. My life has been dedicated to helping others through coaching, mentoring, community service, and creating opportunities for young people and families. I believe government works best when it is transparent, accountable, and guided by the voices of the people it serves. If elected, I will be accessible, honest, and willing to make difficult decisions based on what is right for the community—not what is politically convenient. My loyalty will always be to the residents.
