Councilman Randy Foster in critical condition after suffering from a medical emergency

Palm Bay City Councilman Randy Foster was air-lifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center after suffering from a medical emergency at his home a few days ago. Information is very limited, but family states that he remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The good news is that according to family, doctors plan to take him off the ventilator today, and Randy has been speaking with his eyes and hands.

Randy is a retired Supervisory Deputy U. S. Marshal with The U.S. Marshals Service. Prior to this position, he worked as a Federal Air Marshal and Narcotics Officer for the Fayetteville (NC) Police Department.

Randy served as a Military Police Officer (MP) for both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air force. He is a retired veteran with the 175th Maryland Air National Guard and is a veteran of Operations “Desert Storm”, “Enduring Freedom” and “Iraqi Freedom”.

He was elected in 2020 to the Palm Bay City Council receiving 33,858 votes, the most in any Palm Bay election history. He has been an outspoken servant to the community for many years in addition to his military service.
