Another Heroic Act by our First Responders

Back on October 28, at about 7:30 P.M., the Cocoa Beach Police Communications Center sent Officers Sean Bullard and Bobby Strange to an oceanfront condominium complex regarding an apparent suicidal female.

Officers Bullard and Strange arrived on-scene and spoke with the individual through a locked door, and based on her statements, and the police department’s call history to this residence, the decision was made to forcibly breach the front door. Upon making entry, officers found the woman attempting to jump from the seventh floor balcony. Without hesitation, Officers Bullard and Strange rushed to safely secure her before she could get over the railing.

The actions of these officers, as well as our dispatchers behind the scenes, very likely saved a life and serve as a reflection of their dedication and commitment to protecting those in our community. Job well done!
