“Brevard Deserves Better” August 8th, 2020

VIERA, FL – Protesters gathered outside the Moore Justice Center and Brevard County Government Center on August 8th, 2020. The protest, called “Brevard Deserves Better,” distributed flyers with a list of demands. These demands were outlined in a letter sent to mayors, city managers, chiefs of police, county commissioners, and Sheriff Wayne Ivey. Their demands include abolish police brutality, stop unsafe school reopening, and a shutdown and stimulus for Brevard County residents.
