BREVARD COUNTY, FL – In a horrific sequence of events that unfolded over the night of May 9th, 2024, a local man was arrested on multiple charges including kidnapping, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and violating misdemeanor probation. Drew Davidson, already on probation for reckless driving, now faces severe charges after a night that turned violent and left a woman fearing for her life.

The incident began late in the evening when Davidson, after consuming alcohol, reportedly became increasingly aggressive during a confrontation with an adult female. The argument escalated rapidly, leading to Davidson forcibly abducting the victim by pushing her into the trunk of his red 2012 Jaguar. The victim described a harrowing ride to a secluded wooded area in Mims, Brevard County, where Davidson’s violence intensified.

After reaching the remote location, Davidson allegedly assaulted the woman with a brass knuckle knife, causing severe injuries including swelling, abrasions, and a stabbing wound to the back of her neck. The victim, terrified for her life, believed she would not survive the ordeal to see her child again.

After the assault, Davidson abandoned the victim in the wooded area and drove off. The woman managed to return to her residence and contact law enforcement. She showed officers text messages from Davidson sent post-assault, where he expressed remorse and confusion, saying “I fucked up” and “I have so much hate built up inside me because of my fam.”

The next morning, during a police interview, Davidson appeared evasive, struggling to provide consistent answers. His arrest followed after a confrontation about the texts he sent. Davidson was also wanted on an active warrant for a fraudulent insurance claim.
