Body of man found floating in Banana River, Cocoa Beach identified – death treated as suspicious

From Cocoa Beach Police:

SUSPICIOUS DEATH INVESTIGATION

On October 8, 2023 at 4:56pm Cocoa Beach Police received a report of a body in the water at 3799 S. Banana River Boulevard in Cocoa Beach. Officers responded and located a W/M in the water who was pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Shane Argall, 32 YOA, a transient from the Orlando area. Law enforcement officers from the Cocoa Beach Police Department and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are treating the case as a suspicious death and the investigation is ongoing.
