Melbourne Police drug bust of University Blvd

On April 19, 2023, members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office notified the Melbourne Police Department (MPD) of a residence located at 210 East University Blvd. containing items of contraband. Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit responded to the address and obtained information to seek a search warrant.

Upon approval of the warrant, detectives executed the search warrant and seized the following contraband items:
Narcotics:
– 1.6 lbs. of cannabis
– 3.5 gm. of Adderall
– 2 gm. of amphetamines
– various items of paraphernalia
Weapons:
– Glock 19 (9mm) with 1 magazine and 2 extended magazines
– Mini Draco Pistol (7.62 mm) with 2 magazines and a drum
Additionally, detectives seized over $4,000.00 in cash believed to be the proceeds from the sale/distribution of narcotics occurring at this address.
