According to Orange County Sheriff John Mina, two members of a Spectrum News 13 crew at the scene of a homicide investigation were shot Wednesday afternoon.

One of the two has died, he said.

Investigators also responded to a nearby residence where a 9-year-old girl and her mother were found shot, Mina said.

The girl later died, he said.
The two were at the scene reporting on an Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigation into a Pine Hills homicide that happened earlier in the day.

Investigators said one person was detained at the scene of the most recent shooting. The individual taken into custody was identified as 19-year-old Keith Melvin Moses.
During a press conference Wednesday night, Mina said it is believed that all three shootings are connected.
No other information was immediately available.
