Florida added 12,444 coronavirus cases Friday to push the statewide total past 400,000, to 402,312 infected. Friday also saw a record in new hospitalizations at just under 600. And with 135 new virus fatalities reported, 5,653 Florida residents are now dead.
98 new cases in Brevard for 4,756 total.
