Melbourne man known on local radio as “Super Dave” faces three felony counts after Feb. 14 arrest tied to Port Orange’s “Operation Last Lap.”
A longtime Brevard radio personality known to listeners as “Super Dave” is now at the center of a felony case in Volusia County after investigators say he was caught up in a multi-agency child exploitation sting during 2026 race week in Port Orange.

David William Poore of Melbourne was arrested on Feb. 14, 2026. Court records reviewed by The Space Coast Rocket show the case, State of Florida v. David William Poore, remains open in Volusia County under case number 2026 100987 CFDB. The case now includes three felony counts: traveling to meet a minor, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and soliciting a child, or a person believed to be a child, for unlawful sexual conduct using computer services or devices. Florida law classifies the traveling charge under section 847.0135 as a second-degree felony, while section 934.215 makes unlawful use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony a third-degree felony.
