Palm Bay Resident Among Eight Charged in International Child Pornography Ring

PALM BAY, Fla. – Kody Jordan-Muti of Palm Bay has been charged as part of an international investigation into a child pornography ring, as announced by Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

Jordan-Muti is one of eight individuals in the United States facing charges following a proactive investigation by the FDLE. Authorities uncovered advertisements on social media platforms, including TikTok, offering large amounts of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) for sale. The investigation revealed a group led by Mehmet Berk Bozuyuk, a resident of Turkey, that transferred massive amounts of CSAM to buyers, including the eight men in the U.S.

Attorney General Uthmeier emphasized the severity of the crimes, stating, “Every image of child abuse leaves a lasting scar on an innocent life, and we will aggressively prosecute these heinous crimes.” He also highlighted concerns about the use of social media platforms for such activities, noting, “It’s disgusting that child sexual abuse material is advertised in plain view on apps such as TikTok.”

FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass underscored the commitment of law enforcement agencies, saying, “To the criminals believing they can hide among the shadows of the internet—know this: FDLE is always watching, we are always working, and we will always find you.”

The investigation began with an undercover review of websites known for distributing child pornography. Investigators responded to an advertisement offering over 6 terabytes of material for $100 and received more than 1 million videos and pictures, which were determined to be CSAM. Authorities have since seized the domain of the website to hinder further distribution of such material.

Jordan-Muti, along with the other suspects, faces multiple felony charges, including violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and money laundering. The FDLE and the Attorney General’s Office are collaborating with international partners to apprehend Bozuyuk and dismantle the global network involved in these heinous crimes.

Residents of Brevard County are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious online activities to local law enforcement as authorities continue their efforts to combat the exploitation of minors.

The contractor, Atlantic Industrial Coatings LLC, had been given a no-bid contract on the project, and the president said in April that he picked a contractor who had worked on one of his swimming pools.There is more. Pirro herself visited the pool on July 17 after it was fully drained and saw significant damage throughout the pool area. The filing notes a recent inspection found damage even in the middle of the pool, where a vandal would not likely be peeling the lining, and concluded it is difficult to attribute the widespread damage to vandalism. Court filings this week also included grand jury testimony that the pool was leaking a million gallons a week before Hearn was ever arrested.Hearn, a three-time Olympian, had pleaded not guilty and faced up to 10 years in prison. A Brevard County man is being held without bond after deputies say he crashed a vehicle into a home, forced his way inside and stabbed two people during a demand for car keys, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.Deputies were already responding to reports of a hit and run on Interstate 95 Wednesday afternoon when a second call came in about a similar vehicle crashing into the front yard of a Port St. John residence. Deputies and the Florida Highway Patrol arrived to find several people outside the home, including one victim holding a cloth against a stab wound to the neck.Investigators say the residents were inside when they heard the crash, followed by a man running onto the back porch and entering through the sliding glass door. The suspect, identified as Jadarius West, demanded their car keys and grabbed a knife from the kitchen, according to the Sheriff's Office. Deputies say he cut one victim on the hand, causing that person to fall, then cut a second victim on the neck when they tried to force him out of the house. A third resident was not injured but fell while trying to get out.All of the residents made it out of the home while West remained inside. Deputies surrounded the residence and secured the perimeter before West jumped out of a window and was taken into custody, the agency said.The injured victims were treated for their wounds. West was booked into the Brevard County Jail on charges of armed burglary of an occupied dwelling, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault on a person over 65, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery on a person over 65, criminal mischief, driving while license suspended with knowledge and leaving the scene of a crash.
