The incident, reported on the evening of November 7 at approximately 8:50 p.m., drew a rapid response from Palm Bay Police Department after a caller informed dispatch about an armed individual attacking people with a machete.
Upon arrival, officers found three victims who had sustained non-life-threatening cuts to the head, leg, and hand. Medical personnel quickly treated the victims at the scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals. All three are expected to make full recoveries.
