Activated Bug Bomb Causes Publix to evacuate

Palm Bay fire officials say that a bug bomb fell from a shelf and went off in Publix at Palm Bay Rd and Babcock.

About two dozen shoppers were treated for respiratory issues. PBFR states that no one had to be transported however at least one patient contacted us stating they were.

After the building was evacuated, it was ventilated and shortly after reopened.
